Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The Exclusive room, although pricey, was incredibly noisy due to a wedding late into the night. Some staff, like Ian Travis, were exceptionally helpful, but the room cleanliness left much to be desired with pubic hairs in the bath and a sewage smell. On the bright side, the room felt fresh and clean.
The hotel was perfectly located near Hampton Court Palace and local restaurants, making it an ideal spot for easy exploration. The rooms, though spacious and featuring a four-poster bed, lacked a long mirror. The service was outstanding, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The dining options were lovely, offering a good selection.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with some minor issues. The rooms were spacious with a lovely view of the river, despite being slightly warm due to radiator problems. The service was very friendly and helpful, although a bit slow during peak times. The location was ideal for enjoying the river and exploring nearby attractions. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some high-quality options but also room for improvement.
I absolutely loved the hotel's location, right on the Thames and with Hampton Court Palace just across the road. The rooms had some delightful touches like heated towel racks and a coffee machine, but I struggled with adjusting the radiator. Despite some issues, the setting was truly special.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were conveniently located right next to the restaurant terrace, which was a plus for quick access, especially with family members also booked in nearby rooms. However, there were issues with the service, making it seem as if they would prefer not having guests around.
I had an amazing stay at The Mitre. The rooms were equipped with a large comfortable bed and nice fresh bed linen, the service was exceptional, the location was perfect for exploring the area, and the dining experience was excellent in terms of value for money.
The hotel offers a great view onto the River Thames with a beautiful old oak tree. The rooms, while clean and comfortable with excellent towels and bedding, reflect a traditional style, though some areas may appear slightly worn. The service over the long weekend was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff readily available. The location is superb, directly opposite Hampton Court Palace and overlooking the river, ideal for those interested in exploring the area. The dining options, though not perfect, offer a decent experience at a reasonable price. Overall, the facilities are adequate for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of charm and quirks. The room, with 'French' doors leading to a small courtyard, was spacious but showed signs of aging. The complimentary mini-bar was a nice touch, yet the need for full decoration was evident. The sloping floor added a fun twist, but issues like a deeply indented bathroom floor took away from the experience. Despite the creaking and thumping from above, the historical feel of the building was undeniable.
